Your right to cancel
Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (Consumer regulations). Information about the exercise of the right to cancel.
If the definition of the Consumer Regulations qualifies you as a consumer; then you have a right, within 14 days of entering the contract, to cancel without providing a reason.
Once 14 days from entering the contract has passed, your cancellation period will expire.
In order to exercise your right to cancel your contract, you will have to provide us with a clear statement of your intent to do so, either by post or email to,

To ensure you meet the deadline to cancel your contract, you should provide us with your communication with your intent to exercise your right of cancellation prior to the cancellation period expiring.
How cancelling will affect the contract
Upon cancellation of the contract, Direct Solicitors will reimburse any payment made by you to us; this will include the cost of delivery (standard delivery price will only be reimbursed; if you select a more expensive type of delivery option you will only receive the cost of standard delivery).
After receiving your decision to cancel the contract, we will aim to reimburse you no later than 14 days later.
The reimbursement will be provided in the same method as the payment was received by us unless agreed otherwise. Any reimbursement made to you will not result in you incurring fees.
If we have begun to perform the contractually requested services within the cancellation period at your request you will be liable to pay us for the service we have provided up until the point of the cancellation notice being provided; this amount will be in proportion to any agreement made within the full contract.
It is important to note; your right to cancel under these regulations will be lost if we have provided you with the service under the Terms and Conditions of Business in full at your request and you have accordingly acknowledged that you will lose these rights to cancel once the contract has been fulfilled.
